  • Aluminium foil (clean)
  • Books
  • Cardboard (clean)
  • CD covers/cases
  • Crockery and ceramics
  • Drinking glasses
  • Envelope (including windows)
  • Plastic punnets
  • Glass jars and bottles
  • Glass plates
  • Junk mail (paper)
  • Magazines
  • Medicine bottles
  • Milk and juice boxes
  • Mirror glass
  • Newspapers
  • Office paper
  • Paint tins empty
  • 4L size max
  • Paper
  • Plastic containers and bottles (all hard plastic)
  • Plastic plant pots
  • Pyrex
  • Steel tins and cans
  • Telephone books
  • Wrapping paper

NO (these items are not acceptable):

  • Nappies
  • Clothing and textiles
  • Garden organics and food scraps
  • Plastic bags or soft plastic wrapping or packaging
  • Polystyrene
  • String, rope or cable
  • Shredded paper (this belongs in your organics bin)
  • Scrap metal and appliances
  • Windscreen glass

And please, NO sharps, NO dead animals and NO asbestos!
